We’ve got four people handling calls, installs, and repairs across Alpharetta. What ties us together isn’t a mission statement on a wall. It’s that every one of us has had to explain a gate problem to a homeowner at 7 PM, in the rain, and every one of us has been handed a written price before touching a wrench. Adrian built the crew that way on purpose. We’re not the biggest team in north Georgia, but we answer our own phones and we show up in our own trucks.

I started this in 2014 after ten years wiring commercial access-control systems for distribution centers and parking garages. The habit stuck: every job gets a wiring diagram, every visit gets a photo log, and every customer gets the price in writing before I pull a single tool. I still run service calls when we’re stacked up, usually on the older FAAC and DoorKing systems that need a patient hand. My wife says I talk about limit switches at dinner. She’s not wrong, but she’s also the one who made me start answering the phone live instead of letting it roll to voicemail. I live in Alpharetta, off Windward Parkway, and I’ve probably adjusted your neighbor’s gate at some point.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus joined us in 2019 after six years with a commercial fencing contractor in Gwinnett. He’s certified on LiftMaster and Linear operator systems, and he’s the one we send when a gate’s hitting the limit but the motor won’t stop humming. He keeps a notebook of every gate he’s touched in Alpharetta, organized by subdivision, which sounds obsessive until you’re trying to remember whether a particular Windward home has the older Ghost Controls arm or the revised bracket. He schedules, he confirms, he texts you the technician’s name and photo before arrival, and he follows up the next day to make sure the gate is still behaving. He lives in Alpharetta, shops at the same Publix on Haynes Bridge Road as half our customers, and will absolutely remember your dog’s name from the last call.

Jesse started in January 2025, fresh from a mechatronics program at Lanier Technical College. He’s shadowing Marcus on repairs and Elena on installs, and he’s already certified on Mighty Mule and Elite residential operators. We gave him his first solo call last month, a photo-eye realignment on a driveway gate in downtown Alpharetta, and he photographed the before-and-after beam alignment down to the millimeter.
